v1.0.5 - October 22, 2026

Release notes for Meko v1.0.5 - knowledge base upload from an agent, and deleting a memory in the portal.

This page covers the Meko portal, API, and platform. For Installer, MCP server, and agent skills updates, see the Installer release notes.

New features

Portal

  • Delete a memory - Delete your own memory from Memories. An owner or a maintainer deletes a promoted memory from Collective Memory. Deletes are permanent. A member whose role changed to Viewer can still delete their own from Memories. Delete is limited to memories created on or after September 9, 2026.

Platform

  • Upload a knowledge base file from an agent - The Meko MCP server has new knowledge base tools to allow agents connected to the server to upload a file it has on disk or has just generated.

  • Find a datapack - The new datapack_search tool returns one page at a time, so a large account can look up a datapack without loading all of them. datapack_list now returns at most 1,000 datapacks; more than that and it returns too_many_datapacks.

Improvements

Portal

  • Learnings and memories - The Learnings Summary and the memories list show memory text as Markdown. Headings, lists, links, and code render. Plain text stays as written.

  • Share a link - The Share button now opens a menu: Invite People, Create share link or Copy share link, and Settings. In the portal, only the owner creates, copies, changes, turns off, or resets the link.

Platform

  • Search bookkeeping - context_search records daily activity, token savings, and free-tier usage in the background. That write does not delay the search result.
